The Latest M5.8 Earthquake Shakes Tojo Una-Una Central Sulawesi, No Tsunami Potential
INTERNATIONAL | EARTHQUAKE - JAKARTA, The latest earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 shook the Northwest of Tojo Una-Una, Central Sulawesi, Thursday (26/8/2021) morning.
It is certain that the earthquake vibration has no potential for a tsunami. The results of the BMKG analysis, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at 0.70 South Latitude and 121.51 East Longitude. The epicenter of the earthquake was 44 kilometers northwest of Tojo Una-Una, Central Sulawesi with a depth of 10 km.
"Earthquake Magnitude: 5.8, 26-Aug-21 09:14:19 WIB, Coordinates: 0.70 South Latitude, 121.51 East Longitude (44 km Northwest of TOJOUNA-UNA-SULTENG), Depth: 10 km BMKG," wrote the BMKG, Wednesday (26 /8/2021).
