Study in Canada Fair 2026 Coming to Jakarta and Surabaya

JAKARTA – Indonesian students planning to pursue their education in Canada will have an opportunity to meet representatives of Canadian educational institutions directly at the Study in Canada Fair Fall 2026 in Jakarta and Surabaya this October.

The education fair is scheduled for October 17–18, 2026, in Jakarta, followed by an event in Surabaya on October 21, 2026. The dates are also listed on EduCanada’s official international student recruitment calendar operated by the Government of Canada.

Canadian Education International (CEI) – Indonesia said the event will allow prospective students and their families to connect directly with representatives from Canadian institutions. Participating institutions cover K-12 education, language schools, post-secondary institutions and graduate programs.

The fair will also feature sessions on preparing to study in Canada, including updates on study permit applications and immigration regulations. Visa-related sessions will include representatives from the visa section of the Embassy of Canada in Indonesia.

More Than a University Fair

The event comes as prospective international students face an increasingly complex process when selecting an overseas study destination.

EduCanada provides official information on academic programs, tuition costs, scholarships, student life and study permits. International students are also advised to confirm that their chosen institution is listed as a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) before applying for a study permit.

Canada maintains a dedicated EduCanada portal for Indonesian students, covering elementary and secondary education, language schools, colleges and universities. The Canadian government says thousands of international students come to Canada each year to study across different education levels.

Scholarship Opportunities

Financing is another important consideration for students planning to study abroad. EduCanada lists scholarship opportunities available to Indonesian students and researchers, including programs offered by both Canadian and Indonesian institutions.

CEI – Indonesia is a non-profit foundation mandated by the Embassy of Canada to promote Canadian education in Indonesia. It organizes the Study in Canada Fair as a platform connecting Indonesian students with Canadian educational institutions.

With events scheduled in two major Indonesian cities, the Study in Canada Fair Fall 2026 will give prospective students an opportunity to explore Canadian education options directly before making decisions about programs, institutions and study plans.
