Wage Rudolf Supratman, or better known as WR Supratman was born in Somongari, Purworejo, 19 March 1903. He participated in the struggle for independence through his works as a composer by composing the national anthem. In addition, young Wage also works as a journalist and book writer.
Wage's enthusiasm to participate in the struggle led him to leave all luxuries and be involved in the national movement, in order to achieve independence.
